    Cessnock Aerodrome is located in the vineyards area on Wine Country Drive at Pokolbin, approximately seven kilometres north of Cessnock.

    Cessnock Aerodrome is a registered airport comprising a 1,097m runway and parallel taxiway, aprons, terminal buildings, refuelling facilities and hangars. It is the base for three flying schools and several aircraft maintenance operations. Joy flights, hot air ballooning, helicopters and business/tourist charters also utilise the airport.

    Greg Wilson’s dominant use of colour and texture in his work is deliberate. ‘It was the colours I used in my paintings that started to bring me out of the darkness that consumed me after my motorcycle accidents,’ he said.

    Luskintyre Airfield was established in 1977 and is a 228 acre privately owned airfield near Newcastle in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Luskintyre’s aim is the preservation and operation of vintage aircraft – particularly theDe-Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth. The property has numerous hangars including Luskintyre Aircraft Restoration’s hangar which contains a number of vintage aircraft under construction. Luskintyre Aircraft Restorationspecialise in restoring vintage aircraft with his own special style of old fashioned craftsmanship but using modern methods and materials.

    The aircraft and airfield facilities are privately owned and the intent of all aircraft owners is that the airfield be seen as a “Flying Museum’.  There are no commercial flying operations conducted at the field and commercial joyflights cannot be undertaken.

    The Royal Newcastle Aero Club has a long and proud history, with it’s beginnings back in 1928.

    Over the years, the club has operated a range of aircraft with the clubs current fleet consisting of Cessna 152s, Cessna 172s, a Cessna 182, a Piper Archer and a De Havilland Tiger Moth.  The Club also owns and operates Recreational Aircraft – with a brand new Skycatcher being the first to be delivered to a flying school in Australia.  All club aircraft are maintained to the highest standards by onsite engineers.

    Our charter is to train you as a new pilot, so you can enjoy and experience the challenge and freedom of flight as safely as possible. We are only too pleased to answer any questions you may have regarding flight training with RNAC.

    The Richmond Vale Railway Museum is a volunteer non-profit organization, formed in 1979 with the aim of preserving the Railway and Mining Heritage of J&A Brown and the Hunter Valley.

    The R.V.R.M. is located in the old Richmond Main Colliery site, Main Road 135, Leggett's Drive, Richmond Vale 4kms south of Kurri Kurri in the Hunter Valley, N.S.W.

     

    The R.V.R.M. runs trains first three Sundays of each month and every Sunday during School Holidays. Gates open at 10am and close at 4pm.

      RECEPTION CENTRE

      The Reception Centre opened 1st July 2014. It was purpose built to provide the Bride and Groom complete privacy, in a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere.

      The Reception Centre has a large deck on which your guests can enjoy drinks and canapés, overlooking the picturesque chapel, vineyard, gazebo, dam, bridge, and fountain garden. With views across the valley to Watagans and Brokenback Ranges, you can enjoy the many photo opportunities the Estate has to offer.

      The Reception Centre provides panoramic views from every seat through large bi-fold glass doors, which lead out onto the deck. Ashlee, our Estate Manager will be on hand for every stage of your wedding; from your initial viewing to the departure on your wedding night. Ashlee will ensure your wedding runs smoothly, taking all concerns out of your day, and leaving you free to do nothing but enjoy the most important day of your lives.

      Beverages can be supplied by the Bride & Groom and served from our Bar by our Staff with no corkage fee for up to 75 guests. For over 75 guests, and requests for table service we will require additional staff, at an additional fee.
